Olivier and Dan are the two producers behind European Summer Pride<\/strong>. Drawing on their complementary backgrounds – Olivier as creator and producer of the European Snow Pride<\/strong> for 20 years, now one of the world’s biggest gay ski weeks, and Dan (Franco-Portuguese), a former Faro resident and show and event producer – they decided to combine their skills to create a major new event: the European Summer Pride in Faro<\/strong>.
Their shared vision, their expertise in organizing large-scale events and their in-depth knowledge of Faro make this first edition a solid, ambitious project, perfectly anchored in its local area. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For over twenty years, Olivier<\/strong> has been the producer of European Snow Pride<\/strong>, an event that has become an international benchmark and one of the biggest gay ski weeks in the world, welcoming over 1,200 participants from all over the world to Tignes every year. With two decades of organizing, coordinating and developing a complex event combining sport, parties, shows and mountain logistics, Olivier has solid expertise in creating large-scale LGBTQ+ experiences. <\/p>

Its know-how encompasses:
– the production of international events bringing together several thousand people,
– the management of institutional, tourist and commercial partners,
– the coordination of all event players (artists, venues, service providers, teams),
– the design of immersive and festive atmospheres.<\/p>

Dan Cardoso knows Faro better than anyone on the team: he lived there for some time, immersing himself in its atmosphere, art scene and nightlife. During this time, he produced ShowTime <\/strong>(Paris, Monaco, Faro), a cabaret show conceived as a modern, dynamic revue, combining dance, song, humor and visual performances. This work enabled him to develop a real mastery of show production, artistic direction and event management. <\/p>

For over 12 years, he has hosted and translated conventions on iconic American TV shows and acted as a link between the actors and their fans.<\/p>

His background makes him a real link between European Summer Pride and the city of Faro. He brings : <\/p>

  • in-depth knowledge of the city’s neighborhoods, landmarks, cultural activities, clubs and bars,<\/li>
  • solid experience in show creation, staging and artistic production,<\/li>
  • an extensive local network of quality accommodation, artists, service providers, technicians and nightlife players,<\/li>
  • an artistic sensibility that enables him to imagine evenings that are original, inclusive and perfectly adapted to the LGBTQ+ public.<\/li><\/ul>
